i did this today at Entertainment Art Academy. it was a 2-3 hour demo from life using painter 9. it was Mike's first "webcast" so others were able to watch over the internet.

yep,in Los Angeles. we went to the LA Arboretum to paint today and i came across these primitive huts and had to paint them because they were just too ...out of place. again cs2

Griffith Observatory

this was painted across the way at FLW's Hollyhock house in the Barnsdall Art Park. CS2. i should have included a better foreground element to give it more depth. i was trying to get the light effect but to the exclusion of making sure the composition had good depth. live and learn, right?
