pasadena alleyway

this was an excersise in increasing our angle of view from 60 degrees to 120-160 and still maintain a correct undistorted feel. that's the excuse for the boring subject.

VERY cool. It amazes me how realistic these appear, and then clicking on the image you see the looseness and indication of detail.

60 degrees is the standard angle of view we see in, similar to a 50mm lens in 35mm photography. 120 degrees is twice that, very close to a wide angle lens but we as artists can control the distortion.
