These are great. Question though: how are you able to judge values well using a laptop screen outdoors? I have a tablet PC with a 'view anywhere' display specifically designed for reduced glare outdoors and I even find that to hinder my values too much (it basically crushes all the darks). It's passable in a heavy area of shade, but if I'm out there in the light...forget it. I'd love to know how you get around that?
i have a black foam core box that goes around the laptop. it's the only way. there's a picture of it on my February 4 '06 entry.
