here's the one i did over the weekend. went to El Matador and was the first one there. i thought it came out really well with a good variety of brush and knife work. i ended up making the sky half a value darker than my block in and it sat it space much better after that.

over the break i did a lot of oil painting. i used what i've learned teaching the digital class and reversed engineered it for traditional. this was my favorite.

it's still out on the stands. the most complex illustration i've done. 2.5 GIGABYTES. some game assets, some sketch-up models, a little of everything and a lot of actual painting! here's the sketch as well.
